Mattelift

The Berner Mattelift (or the Senkeltram) is a special lift construction that takes people from the cathedral platform down to the Mattequartier. The lift is always operated by a conductor and therefore a special experience that only lasts a few seconds. That day in the snowstorm, I was able to capture one person facing this experience.

Print information & limitation

Each print is limited, numbered and hand-signed. If all prints of a size are sold out, it will not be produced again. The images are all on matte Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308 g/m² Paper printed, which gives the images that high-quality, long-lasting look. Each print includes a white border.
